Does God’s heavenly kingdom operate under socialism or capitalism?

The answer is both! However, to understand how this is possible, we need to look through non-physical lenses, since heaven is not in time and space. This will take a little setup.

The spiritual world consists not of physical matter but of spiritual substance. What is spiritual substance? It is disposition, endeavor, and intention. These spiritual qualities are the fundamental law-generating forces of the universe.

These primal dynamical essences are also all derivatives of Love. Heaven is not simply a “place” where people love, it is where love finds form, measure, and embodiment in the various spiritual qualities of the hearts and minds of those who inhabit this non-local and non-temporal realm.

Evidence for this claim is that the human heart and mind are not completely constrained by the laws that govern spacetime. For instance, we can share half of our knowledge with others yet still keep all of our knowledge (this cannot be done with physical possessions). Also, the human function of memory brings back things that already took place in time, and therefore, the reality of the event finds perpetuity beyond the physical duration of the event.

When we die and shed the constraints of our physical bodies, we live as spiritual beings with spiritual bodies and under spiritual laws. Not only are our spiritual bodies the measurement and morphogenetic expression of our loves, beliefs, and worldviews, so is the topological quality of our final spiritual abode.

God loves everyone equally. But there is differentiation in heaven because not everyone responds to Gods love equally—which is according to the measure of our love for others (for this is a primary spiritual precept and law).

Heaven is socialistic because everyone seeks the best for everyone else—from the principle of love. Heaven is also capitalistic because some aspire to this noble undertaking more than others—from the magnitude of their love.

“Currency” in the other world is truth—the measure of our love. The more sincere love we have for others the greater the richness of our lives. This richness is instantly reflected by the spiritual environment’s reciprocal response to mirror our inner qualities (everything there is living, spiritual substance). We see powerful examples of environments and habitats taking on the qualities of the human psyche in books and movies—like having evil people lurking in the shadows. Horror stories always depict monsters living in caves, swamps, or in dark, empty castles and mostly coming out at night. This creative story telling comes from our instinctive knowledge about the nature and reciprocal dynamics of the spiritual world.

To repeat, the spiritual world is a holographic feedback system that faithfully projects the qualities of our hearts and minds onto the topological features that make up our eternal environment. Since everything in this realm represents some expression of love, socialism (sharing our talents) and capitalism (increased worth to human society through our developed capacities and aspirations to be useful) are put into perfect harmony.

Only God’s heavenly government can bring about such harmony between what normally seems to us terrestrial humans like opposing values.

Heaven: Reserved for one group only

    Dear thinkpoint,

What is your point? If it is that heaven is reserved for
only one religion or denomination you are wrong!
“Loving God” and “loving the neighbor” trumps all
    doctrinal knowledge!

Heaven is not a place you go to – it is something you
    become.

Thank you for your article. I think it speaks the truth that God’ s kingdom is both socialistic and capitalistic.
As you well know it is very difficult to reveal such truth to spiritually immature people. I feel that most American voters are spiritually immature and therefore incapable of understanding the spiritual essence of socialism and capitalism. Because of this, the very idea of a government of the people, by the people and for the people is absurd. God must still reign in the affairs of mankind until the time that he matures us all and brings us all into the knowledge of the truth. At present the words socialism and capitalism cannot be fully understood by most and in most people’ s minds these words are simplistically understood as either bad or good. For example many Americans are easily led to believe that socialism is “bad” while Capitalism is mostly good.
I would like to talk with you more about this topic.

    Dear david,

Socialism and capitalism both offer noble principles – much like the two (right and left) hemispheres of the human brain. When explored deeply, elements of both socialism and capitalism can be “harmonized” in such a way as to increase LOVE and human potentiality.

Feel free to continue this conversation!
