Whose stomach are you going to end up in?

digestive-systemThere is no way around it. We are all going to end up in someone’s (or something’s stomach).

For instance, when we die, our physical bodies will become food for various worms, grubs and microbes.

Scientist/theologian Emanuel Swedenborg extended this same process into the spiritual realm (bio-theology). He stated that when we die, our spiritual selves enter a spiritual realm much like food enters into the mouth and the digestive system of a great human bio-structure.

Nothing goes to waste in God’s multi-leveled universe—not even our inmost thoughts and passions.

The kingdom of angels resides deep within this cosmic living structure (like a brain and its nervous system). Hell represents all those who add nothing to the health and vitality of this unified community-structure, and are jettisoned out through a great cosmic butt-hole as useless material.

Whether you become a part of the Lord God’s grand heavenly community or end up going out the rear end depends on what effect the “stomach acids” of this non-physical bio-system have on you.

These unique stomach acids are the spiritual lessons that God’s angels share with all individuals entering into the spiritual realm. These lessons are designed to remove and cut through all forms of pretense and determine the genuine spiritual quality of one’s soul and heart. This digestive process allows heavenly forces to properly place an individual’s soul into his or her eternal (and justified) form of utility (how one contributes to heavenly sharing and cooperation).

We humans can get this process started here on earth if we sincerely examine our motives and intentions and compare them with God’s tenets. So, will your inner life nourish God’s heaven of mutual support or will it be reduced to stinky crap?

Great post, it’s quite beautiful how Heaven is quite literally the body of the Lord. It reminds me of a documentary I recently watch on bees, called More Than Honey. One of the individuals in the movie describes how a colony of bees can in a way be considered one organism and the groups of bees with different rolls in the beehive its organs.

Also, I wanted to thank you for your books, Proving God and Sermon from the Compost Pile. It was your book, Proving God, that got me interested in the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg. Very well written and exactly what I needed at the time. And your book Sermon from the Compost Pile is such a gem! In fact, I liked it so much as an introductory to the deeper meanings of the Word and Swedenborg’s teachings that I purchased a few as Christmas presents this year. Thank you.

Glad you liked the post article. The dynamics of spiritual love is most perfectly expressed by the mutual sharing among the cells, organs and tissues of the human anatomy!

      Spiritually yours,
