Ideas For New Lie-Detector Technologies

Since deceit is becoming so rampant in the world, and goes against one of God’s Ten Commandments, I felt that any ideas I could offer to help people develop technologies to get to the truth would be invaluable.

Thanks to the anatomical research of Emanuel Swedenborg, I can offer two unique and wholly new approaches to uncovering peoples lies. Swedenborg discovered that the flow of blood in the body would faithfully mimic the changing states and qualities of our mind. For instance, anger directed the flow of blood to the face, turning it “red,” while fear drained the face of blood making it turn “white.”

Swedenborg called this mind/body correlation the science of correspondences. In his later theological works, the Swedish Seer assigned a particular flow of blood to deceitful behavior and dissimulation within human relations. Normally, when people are sincere, their blood goes from the heart directly to the lungs where it is purified (scrutinized). But nature has provided a contingency whereby some of the heart’s blood can bypass the lungs and take a more circuitous path through the vena cava and aorta, then after this temporary detour, make its way back to the lungs (through the bronchial arteries) in a way that is more removed or “abstracted” from the heart.

A shifty mind comes with a shifty blood flow.

God designed this physical and psychical contingency so that humans could raise their understanding above their proper love through refined thinking and abstraction. However, when we misuse this ability to think noble and high-sounding thoughts (in spite of what lurks in the heart) it grows into a habitual talent for putting on a false front. Human consciousness then becomes split into the real and the artificial. Therefore I propose that a new, more reliable lie detector could be made that also monitors the flow of blood in the bronchial arteries.

My second idea involves the development of a Noble Erection Detector (NED) for the male penis. We all know that not every sexual intention by a male is a noble one. Therefore, I believe that using the male penis can provide real empirical or “hard” evidence for verifying Swedenborg’s science of correspondences operating between our physical and mental states.

There are two kinds of erectile tissue in the male penis. There is the corpus spongiosum, which encloses the urethra, and the corpora cavernosa, which represents the outer and more superficial part of the penis. According to Swedenborg, if the corpora cavernosa fills up with blood first, its cause is purely carnal. But if the corpus spongiosum tissue fills first, it is a more genuine and noble erection (because it is activated by a more interior principle in a man’s heart and the state of his vesiculae seminals and prostate.)

If a Noble Erection Detector device could be made to run on batteries and fit into a women’s purse, I could make money hands over fist!

How do these ideas make you feel?
