The non-local and non-temporal Bible

The Holy Word comes to us from God in heaven. If you reflect on that for a moment you will come to the conclusion that God’s truth has its eternal operation and origin in a pre-space, non-physical realm.

Therefore, the holy essence of its origin cannot be the same as it is in the written words of its terrestrial human language. In other words, the holiness of the Lord God’s Word and its divine revealed wisdom contains deeper levels of meaning that must, by necessity, be completely removed from any involvement with time and locality.

The Holy Word is a multi-dimensional document representing a spiritual causality and dynamical nexus from heaven that gives rise to the literal sense of the biblical narratives, yet its original (and deeper) message is totally abstracted from worldly or material ideas. In fact, this top-down relationship between the Holy Word’s original non-local and non-temporal heavenly message and its human language is not unlike the relationship between quantum and classical phenomena.

Some scientists suspect that there is a correspondence principle between quantum and classical physics. But they haven’t quite straddled this idea.

Amazingly, scientist/theologian Emanuel Swedenborg discovered a correspondence principle built into the Bible’s multi-leveled architecture. He discovered that between the Bible’s higher-leveled meanings and its worldly language there is a symbolic or allegorical relationship. To state this in another way, all the words of Scripture have their equivalent in some psycho-spiritual quality. Spiritual and physical processes correspond.

While many post-modern thinkers might be skeptical that the Holy Word could offer insights about quantum (fundamental) physics, I attempt to show how this is realizable in my upcoming book Proving God. In the chapter titled “Did Noah’s Ark Travel Across Possibility Waves?” I demonstrate how Scripture cleverly depicts the dynamical nexus between spiritual (potentialities) and physical realities (measurement outcomes).

This revelation should not come as a surprise to theologians or the clergy, either. In Scripture, John 1:1-3 states that, “all things that were created were created from the Word.” Swedenborg has made it possible to find the patterning principles for natural law and order within the pages of Holy Scripture!

My new book is not a pipedream. Several “advance reading copies” have already been given favorable reviews by very thoughtful individuals who are not inclined to embarrass themselves.

If you are interested in obtaining an advance reading copy you can reach me at this blog. I will get back to you. I have a very limited number of copies available. The book will be made available to the general public this summer.
