Flip that “spiritual” house

Once upon a time there was a woman named Grace who sensed that she needed to change her life, or as they say metaphorically, get her house in order.

So she turned to the Bible for guidance and eagerly began reading its various stories. Unbeknownst to Grace, this activity would have a profound effect on God’s housing market and even change where she “lived.”

As information traveled from the pages of the Bible to her eyes and continued onwards to her brain it began to accumulate and get mixed in with all the other data in her memory. But from a change in her heart and a new affection towards goodness an even deeper process was also set into motion.

A guardian angel was sent down by God from heaven to explore all the data in Grace’s memory. This angel had heavenly carpenter skills and was capable of rehabbing Grace’s spiritual home, that is, the dwelling of her heart and mind.

As the angel explored the data in Grace’s memory the new information from the Bible would serve as her new building material after gutting the house now inhabited by Gracie’s thoughts and feelings. The angel’s only restriction stipulated in spiritual building codes was that no new material in her memory could be used for the reconstruction unless it matched the sincerity of Grace’s evaluation of God’s teachings. Angels cannot use fabricated materials—that would amount to deception and a home with an artificial architectural facade.

(Many guardian angels are unable to use their carpentry skills, because the material they find in people’s memory has often accumulated with no special spiritual utility or spiritual goodness in mind. God’s housing market then drops because heaven’s economy relies on spiritual love.)

So as Grace was going through new changes in her heart and mind, her guardian angel was custom-building a spiritual habitat according to the new specifications received and embraced from the Bible and God’s tenets.

While this new house was invisible to Grace’s physical eyesight, she could sense from her actions that she was now living in a new place that was every bit as real as any on earth. She now understood why Jesus said, “God’s kingdom is within you” and that He would “build many mansions” for us.

The purpose of this blog is to provide you with the highest quality building materials a guardian angel could ever hope for in “flipping” the dwelling place of your heart and mind. God’s revealed wisdom represents the ultimate “home improvement show!”
