Where does a child get the model of an ideal father, when coming from a single mother environment?

This is a question that was asked of me recently by a Facebook friend. The answer is difficult when it comes to pointing towards an ideal terrestrial figure.

However, the answer becomes much easier when it comes to an eternal Father figure. We are all children of God. Spiritual growth moves us away from our genetic parents and closer to our heavenly Father.

The best model for a young man or woman to seek is living a life according to God’s commandments. Furthermore, based on those commandments, a child will be better equipped to pick out an ideal father model from the various men living on earth.

The best single mother environment is one that nurtures a love of God and a love of the neighbor. Even better, is a mom who uses Emanuel Swedenborg’s theological writings as her helper!

This can be no aspersion on you, but there is a priest with your surname on the EWTN programmes who is showing signs of being completely off his head with his twisted religion and what he reads on the internet. It has become so bad that I have to switch him off. I fear for my own sanity and that of people who phone up and trust him. I think he should discharged from his duty.

    Dear Jason,

If you want to get some revenge and drive that priest crazy simply direct him to this blog post.

    Spiritually yours,
