Quantum (and Angelic) Entanglement

Once upon a time there lived a scientist named Sam. He was actually a theoretical quantum physicist. He believed, like most physicists, that the macro-world was unified. He was also intrigued that in the quantum microworld processes also seemed unified.

This quantum unity was called “non-locality” and “non-separability.” It suggested to him that on the smallest fundamental scales of reality everything was simultaneously connected. This immediate connection transcended the need for any time and space measurement.

Sam realized that such a situation was enigmatical to the ideas of material science and the reductive views of ontology. Scientists have had to develop completely unified field theories in an attempt to grasp this non-local dynamic and challenging causal mechanism within a theoretical framework. He also knew that coherent and organized systems display both successive and simultaneous orders. In fact, organic systems seemed to behave like analogs of fields. Furthermore, organic systems took this same field-like patterning principle to even higher levels of bio-structure, which included increased psychical abilities like intelligence and consciousness.

He wondered if there could be different or distinct kinds of existence. And, was there a causal connection between these discrete manifestations of reality?

Suddenly an angel appeared in Sam’s room!

“Don’t be afraid,” she said with a warm and loving smile. “I am here to help nudge your thoughts in the right direction.”

“Have I lost my mind?” questioned Sam looking at what seemed to be an apparition.

The angel giggled. “No, we angels are simply higher-structured forms of bio-reality. We live in a realm that you would call non-local and non-temporal—what religion calls ‘heaven.’ The reason why the unity of the universe becomes more profound, the deeper one probes reality, is because it leads to God. Unity is fundamental and infinite.”

“If you are real and not some psychosis of my mind, perhaps you can explain to me what causal connection angels and heaven have with terrestrial humans?” asked Sam.

“Sure thing,” said the angel. “Let me show you how we are both organically connected within the hierarchical and causal scheme of the universe.”

With that said, the angel moved towards Sam and superimposed her spiritual body over his physical body. Then she raised herself up so that her stomach was lined up with Sam’s brain.

“Now we are properly connected as to our ontological and causal relationship. My digestive system begins where your best thoughts end,” said the amazing angel. “The universe has more intelligence than you could ever imagine. Now look out your window at the garden that is there. Tell me what do you see?”

With the angel’s stomach organically interlocked to his brain in a perfectly correlated way, Sam looked out the window at his garden. He could viscerally discern that as information entered his brain it did not end with his usual ideas about the world of nature. Instead he could feel his thoughts continue to go through further processes of abstraction. Everything observed in the garden lost its physical values and meanings and suddenly began to convey new and profound spiritual concepts—as if nature served as an ultimate plane for spiritual processes to terminate in corresponding fixed forms. In fact, Sam was now able to observe nature’s processes not simply as successive events, but as simultaneous and comprehensive wholes, by which everything was interconnected, interrelated and interdependent.

“Your brain, relative to my angelic bio-structure, is like a mere stomach,” she said. “That is why I can take your ideas and process them further. Through me, you now have the cognitive power to recognize how the unity of the universe is a physical analogy of Divine Love,” said the angel with an even bigger smile.

Next she asked Sam to go over to his bookcase and pick up his Bible. “Now read it and tell me what it communicates.”

Sam opened his copy of the Bible and as he read the words, the same process took place in his brain as when he looked out into his garden.

“Wow! This Bible is now communicating to me with higher levels of meaning!” said Sam with great astonishment.

“Yes, you are tapping into the Bible’s non-local and non-temporal realities. God’s Holy Word contains all the levels of causality and structure that the universe has—that is why the physical world and everything in it was created from the multi-leveled architecture and patterning principles that are cleverly portrayed and preserved within the narratives of Scripture,” said the beautiful angel.

The angel then disappeared as suddenly as she appeared.
