It was once held by Stephen Hawking that objects (and their information) would vanish forever inside a black hole. Hawking even created a seemingly ironclad mathematical equation that proved this scenario to be true.
Physicist Leonard Susskind was appalled by this notion since it was long held that nothing in the universe could be lost. If Hawking were correct, then one day the entire universe would disappear into black holes, and these black holes would also shrink into nothingness—ka-poof!
For thirty years, Susskind labored and looked for ways to disprove Hawking’s fatalistic theory. He eventually found a more satisfying answer within string theory in what was called a “Holographic principle.” This principle allowed for information to be preserved within the “horizon event,” an outer boundary of the black hole.

However, with either outcome, I wondered what would happen if the Holy Bible were to enter into the powerful gravitational pull of a black hole. So, I decided to conduct my own “thought-experiment” (just as “Schrodinger’s Cat” is a thought-experiment).
Having studied Swedenborg’s unique theology concerning the content of God’s Word, and the notion that it contained infinite information which existed even beyond the realm and physical constraints of time and space, I found this to be an amusing mental exercise.
If Swedenborg is right, this means that in either theory of the black hole—Hawking’s or Susskind’s—the Holy Bible would completely choke it up with ever-increasing data. Neither the event horizon nor the black hole’s gravitational pull could absorb the Lord God’s Infinite Wisdom and its divine order.
The physical Bible would indeed get stretched and shredded as it traveled into a black hole, but more of its implicate information and complexity would be released. The inexhaustible depth of its hidden layers of spiritual and angelic content would simply overwhelm even this astronomical monster—as this divine data were ingrained either upon its event boundary or moved deeper into the spacetime singularity at its center.
Thanks to Swedenborg’s multi-dimensional translation of God’s Holy Word, we don’t have to throw a Bible into a black hole to release these deeper levels of divine content. We can simply read about it in his amazing 12-volume work Arcana Coelestia (Secrets of Heaven). On a smaller, introductory scale, I touch on this unique topic in my new book “Proving God.”
I figured you probably would not venture to get too close to a black hole or read the 12 books.

Thats so freaking rediculous, if you trew a bible in there and it choked it up, then this world would be over. because if tearing open a bible created more gravity than a black hole, the very first bible to be ripped on earth would suck in earth and create a ultimately massive black hole.

If the Word was God (as stated in John 1:1-3) then Holy Scripture contains infinite information. Infinite information would be immune from the sucking force of a black hole. I suspect you know nothing of the deeper levels of meaning within the architecture of the biblical narratives. Also, mixing physical gravity with non-material (spiritual) information is a misstep.
I am not catholic, so I cannot comment on the Pope’s faith.

‘Information’ does not have the same meaning to the universe or a black hole as it does to the reader of a copy of a copy of a copy of a translation of the bible. It’s lucky that Einstein realised that space didn’t just mean the gaps between stuff or he’d have been in as much trouble as you.

The basis of my blog articles is that their is a spiritual reality in which information is, at its most fundamental level, a-temporal, non-local and non-material. Therefore a black hole could not destroy this pre-Planck structure. The Holy Bible or Word of God causally exists from this primal pre-plank condition. See my book “Proving God.”
