Pay no attention to the strange “orb” at the top of my photo!

Recently, my wife and I spent a week in Sedona, Arizona. Being an author of spiritual books (and she being my designer) we were both interested in checking out some of its reputed sacred sites. Sedona is known for having several geological areas where “vortex” energies are said to be concentrated.

Some people visit these sites as curious tourists while others do so in the hope of augmenting their spiritual progress through personally experiencing these vortex energies. The sites are promoted as great places for meditation.

At an elevation of 4,000 ft. above sea level, I sat on a small boulder to meditate a bit at one of those areas of special vortex energies called “Buddha Beach.”

As my wife was photographing the area she began to see strange streaks of “static” energy in her viewfinder. She was simply trying to photograph the light sparkles from the reflected sunlight on the stream. But her camera began to capture some weird, extra anomalies that were not visible till after the photos were taken. Eventually, a kind of subtle light energy began to form at the top of her photos. In the series of pictures she took, it finally formed a perfectly circular orb near where I was sitting (shown above). In her last picture, the orb descended and actually made contact with the water in the stream in front of me.

Being a student of the ideas of Emanuel Swedenborg, I, of course, was unimpressed. Since the “orb” phenomenon offered me no experience of euphoria or an epiphany I chalked it up as probably the result of sunlight hitting the lens of my wife’s camera at a strange angle.

Or perhaps, it was swamp gas.

This is a spiritual domain – not a ghost domain. I focus on spiritual transformation not simply supernatural phenomena. Thanks for liking the site!
