Religion needs an overhaul!

Religion is losing its importance in Europe. It is also being vehemently challenged more and more by a growing number of atheistic U.S. citizens. Religion in Muslim countries is growing but it has also shown an ugly side of intolerance for other belief systems.

Religion itself (and its various doctrines) seems to be standing in the way of bringing people together to make a better world. Many people are correctly sensing this problem. If religion is going to survive it needs to be overhauled—all religion!

The word “Religion” comes from the Latin word ligare, which means to hold or bind together (as in ligament). In other words, religion is meant to be a unifying rather than a dividing influence in human lives.

Is it God’s fault for religion’s failures? Or is it the fault of flawed human thinking in doctrinal matters and interpretation? While there is a growing cry for greater consciousness, understanding and empathy in the world, no one seems immune from the growing trend of divisiveness in all aspects of human life, whether it be a religious view, political or simply rooting for one’s favorite sports team. We all think we are right and favor those who affirm our beliefs.

Actually, today’s leading religion is science.

Science is what most people put their faith in and mathematics is considered a true universal language. While science (and technological advances) can make our lives easier and has allowed us to submit everything to measurement, it has failed to give us greater wisdom. Even a complete jerk or criminal can exalt their lives through the advances of modern technology. Science therefore, does not make the earth a less dangerous place. So it is no better than religion when it comes to fixing the world’s essential problems.

Science has closed the door to wisdom just as effectively as ignorance (and blind faith). But ironically, science may well be a part of God’s ultimate strategy to offer the post-modern mind a unique new way to embrace spiritual realities. And, this divine strategy may well be the secret behind the mystery of the “end times” and the coming Apocalyptic Kingdom of God. What change is more effective than a paradigm change in human thinking?

Scientists often say that unraveling the mystery of quantum gravity is the “Holy Grail” of physics because it would offer a way to unify the two major pillars of modern physics—relativity theory and quantum mechanics. Perhaps the answer to such a scientific dilemma is indeed a “Holy” one.

Imagine if God were to providentially intervene in modern human history in a way that would not only offer new information for a unified scientific model, but to go even further—to rationally and lawfully unify science with a more exalted theology! In other words, offer evidence—with explanatory and predictive results—that LOVE powers the universe.

That would certainly turn heads! It would also make it apparent that all divisiveness in human activity is cosmically illogical and a sign of mental degeneration.

I have placed my bet on the Lord God bringing potent new information into the world. And I have written all about it in my second book, Proving God, which provides abundant evidence that this new knowledge is already beginning to stream into our planet.

  1. The picture needs an overhall

  2. God did not plan on religion in the plan that he had in His mind before he created. It is important that we find and educate the original plan that God had in His mind before He created. It is available today for those who seek, ask, and knock.
