Are Swedenborg’s theological writings incomplete?

open_blank_bookYes—if you consider that God’s wisdom is Infinite and that heaven is always in an effort to reveal more and more truths to those on earth.

While Emanuel Swedenborg’s theological writings reveal many new theological ideas to human reasoning (“Nunc licet”) even angels cannot exhaust the depth of God’s Word.

But Swedenborg gives clues to this future info and suggests that more arcana (secrets) will eventually be communicated as we each take on the personal challenges that will allow new influx from God’s heaven to excite our hearts and minds. I have to say that an important part of this advanced sacred knowledge will come from better connecting the dots between things that Swedenborgians already possess.

From that “connecting,” Swedenborgians will eventually acquire a universal model of process (patterning principle) by which deeper and deeper knowledge can be placed in its rightful series and order.

(I think I will offer an example of this deeper approach to Swedenborgian theology in my very next blog post—to get the ball rolling.)

Meanwhile, my new children’s book Cupid and the King of Muck will offer interested readers an entertaining story to elevate their minds (and the minds of their children) into an appropriate state for receiving new influence (influx) from heaven. The book is now available from
