God’s Cherubim vs. the modern theoretical physicist

cherubim3Science is not a search for wisdom. Some scientists have even claimed that science does not even seek truth but only seeks the best models for explaining and predicting phenomena.

So science ignores values—or “heart stuff.”

Scientist/theologian Emanuel Swedenborg came to the conclusion that wisdom and spiritual love are not only noble values to adopt in life, they are the very fabric of ontological reality.

This is why the Tree of Life, in the Garden of Eden, and the Ark of the Covenant are both protected by Cherubim.

According to Swedenborg, Cherubim symbolize spiritual protection to guard against anyone trying to gain access to divine truth by inappropriate means (i.e., just by head-knowledge). An individual searching for deep truth must go through the steps of spiritual transformation in which the human heart evolves along with the human intellect.

This means adopting the correct values in one’s life and in one’s paradigms.

Otherwise, one’s efforts to form a correct model of reality will always be wrong. In other words, Cherubim protect sacred data through humankind’s own mistakes and psychical rigidness—like clinging to the worldview that the universe consists only of dead and mindless matter.

My award-winning book, Proving God, offers a rational approach to unifying scientific law with God’s Divine Love and Wisdom. It is a recommended reading by Cherubim.
