God Drops The F-Bomb

This could not be avoided. Due to the fact that traditional Christianity has changed the meaning of the word “Faith” to render it a profanity, God has no choice but to fight back with some powerful words of His own.

God’s Faith-Bomb is going to hit us with all the ground-shaking impact of the Second Coming. This bomb from “above” will obliterate all the false ideas that have entered into our heads concerning the definition of true Faith.

Faith has come to be erroneously understood as mere belief that the Lord is Savior, and, the hope that this belief alone will indeed save us. Totally wrong!

The profanation of Faith involves the dirty thought that Christians are above the Law.

Yet, when the Lord was in the world, He described the secret to getting into heaven was “Loving the Lord above everything else,” and “Loving the neighbor as yourself.” All God’s commandments hang on these two spiritual activities.

True Faith is a verb. Faith provides humankind with actionable information.

However, traditional religion will counter and defend its false position concerning true Faith by saying that we are full of (Original) sin and that only God’s grace can cleanse us of this predicament. This cursed notion allows humankind to believe that it can escape introspection and the responsibility of free moral agency.

God’s F-Bomb reaction to Christianity’s false notion of immunity is the revelation that no sin can be removed that a worshipper does not identify within him or herself (then seeks the Lord to have it removed). To change one’s life requires changing what we do in life – not later in some heavenly realm, but NOW!

As I have maintained in past posts, heaven is not a place you go to, it is something you become (with the Lord’s help).

So “ka-boom” to the idea that salvation does not require our full cooperation. Religion is walking with God. This means living rightly, by incorporating God’s dictates and tenets into our lives (and removing hurtful and negative tendencies).

Faith is the knowledge of love, and therefore, love is Faith put into action. Mere head-faith indeed allows the Lord God to be present with us, but acts of selfless and mutual love is what conjoins God to our hearts and the life of our soul.

Faith has become distorted over time because false doctrines have been concocted and confirmed by the various subjective interpretations of the literal sense of the narratives in God’s Holy Word. To remedy this, God’s F-bomb will fall from the clouds of this doctrinal obscurity that hangs over our heads.

In Revelation, the Apostle John witnessed God’s F-Bomb coming out of the clouds, and exploding into the events leading to Armageddon. This divine F-Bomb will blow out all the doors of perception from false beliefs by releasing the hidden power of the deeper meanings contained within the literal sense of Scripture.

This ultimate event of  “shock and awe” is to be played out on the battlefield of our hearts and minds. God’s F-Bomb will wipe out all our antiquated paradigms; changing the world as we know it. It will make all things anew.

Seeking the deeper truths within the stories of Scripture is the secret to setting this bomb off.

Wow. Thank you. You nailed it, GodGuy!

You’ve touched on something that has bothered me through the years as I was growing up and attempting to come to terms with what the church was telling me about how I should live my life. I was raised in one of the mainstream Protestant Christian denominations.

We always seemed to acknowledge the need to become better people, but what I heard in church left me feeling no real responsibility to step up and actually change anything about what I was doing (or sometimes “not doing”) that might be wrong. It was as though showing up and listening to the weekly sermon and Bible stories and putting something in the collection basket each week pretty much “had me covered,” so I could just get on with life. I always wondered if it was really “enough” to get me to heaven (or at least keep me out of hell).

When I’d ask, they’d say of course we “should” be kind to others, etc., but that “faith” was the thing that would actually save me. But for me, those words just weren’t enough. The idea of looking within myself and making heartfelt changes was never really brought up, except in vague terms.

I can see now, that all I was hearing was the “surface” message of scripture interpreted by men. When one looks at the deeper meaning of scripture and discovers that there are layers and layers of meaning within each story, it gets really interesting to me. It both excites me and it comforts me. And the idea that in actively working to become a more loving person, I can become not only heaven-worthy, but I can also become a heavenly example to others gives me a feeling of tremendous freedom, along with one of personal responsibility. What could better demonstrate God’s true Love for me than allowing me to be “me?”

You say, “True Faith is a verb.” What a simple, yet powerful concept! This should be embroidered someplace. Better yet, it should be painted on the interior doors of every church in the world, so it’s the last thing people see as they exit on Sunday morning and head out into the world!

The concept of personal responsibility for our own salvation is a truly liberating way to read and enjoy the gift of God’s Holy Word! I hope to remain open to the insights that are there and ready to guide me.

Thanks again for your brilliant and inspiring message!

    Dear Innergardner,

Mainstream Christianity is dead. The Lord God of heaven and earth is ushering in a New Church, called in Revelation, the New Jerusalem.

New ideas are being revealed to the human race at this time. The Second Coming will happen, one person at a time, as these new ideas are embraced and put into action.

The world can only change as men and women change. So where else can the great battle of Armageddon take place but within the hearts and minds of humanity. Where else would the Lord choose to return and make all things truly ANEW but within the human will and the human understanding?

And what better weapons could God use then revealing deeper levels of truth within the Sacred Word to men and women in order that they can join the fight for saving their own souls and resisting negative inclinations?

Thank you for your heartfelt response.

BY BELIEVING IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST IS MEANT BELIEVING IN THE SPIRITUAL QUALITY OF LIFE HE REVEALED,NOT A MERE PAYING LIP SERVICE TO A HISTORICAL FIGURE…PRAYER COMES FROM TRUTH INSIDE YOU,AND YOU ARE CONTINUALLY AT PRAYER WHEN YOU LIVE ACCORDING TO THAT TRUTH… UPON A LIFE I DID NOT LIVE,UPON A DEATH I DID NOT DIE,I RISK MY WHOLE ETERNITY…NOTHING IN MY HANDS I BRING SIMPLY TO THE CROSS I CLING, FOR REMEMBER THAT THESE BAD BEGINNINGS HAVE HAD A GREAT EFFECT IN MAKING A MAN FRUITLESS,

      Dear domenic,

You are technically correct. However, I go through all the trouble of taking a “right-brain” approach and you drag my readers back into “left-brain” thinking. You sound like you are reading from a book – that is not what turns my readers on!

      Spiritually yours,

    Dear domenic,

Quite true! Nor does it matter what words you use. I try to use different words – which throws off many Swedenborgians. This tells me that much of what people learn is locked up as “memory-knowledges”. A person with true inner perception can recognize similar principles even when different words or expressions are being used. Good for you!

    Spiritually yours,
